![]() You could throw around arguments all day about how time / effort / playstyle / solo / group differences all weight in to what is fair. It is objectively unfair that multiplayer levelers compete against solo levelers. It’s now part of the game, but it’s a design choice they should seriously re-evaluate in D4. Like many things in this game that are numerically broken or otherwise absurd, the OP has a valid point about the game design. This isn’t about “work harder.” It’s about an absolutely broken balance between solo and group play. It’s so much faster to play in 4 mans, it’s unbelievable, which is why everyone does it. ![]() Bounties are infinitely faster, which means your access to cube skills, items that RNGesus doesn’t want to drop, and augments are all significantly accelerated. You can get away with a lot riskier play when undergeared in a 4 man. You get the benefit of extra playesr on the screen soaking ranged projectiles that would otherwise be solo focused on you. In 4-mans, you get the benefit of synergy. In fact, I’d go farther and say that the guy with with 2200 paragon who did it in 4 mans didn’t have to work as hard as the solo guy. Did you not read what the OP wrote? It has nothing to do with work ethic or bootstraps.
